The items I have become deeply passionate (and obsessed with) during the transition of seasons in the last 90 days.

There are two types of chills.
The one where you're creeped out by something. And the one that comes from the last summer night, and first autumn day. Yeah I prefer the 2nd one too.
Although things seem to be "going back to normal" since the release of the Covid vaccine, I've chosen to continue my focus on healing and preventative measures. Inside and out. If this pandemic has taught me anything, it's that if you don't make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness.
Oh. And don't forget to give into a sprinkle of colorfulness. Whether its in your wardrobe, in your daily routine, remember to give spontaneity a seat at your life's table.

Here are my latest 5 #lifehack selects that I feel have the most optimal use/benefits during this segway of environmental seasons or simply just reveal how fashionably late I am, haha.
Overnight (NO-mess) Castor Oil Packing
I've heard this method talked about in the holistic world for a few years now; a very well known Chinese/Ayurvedic approach to liver detox.
Castor Oil itself has numerous properties for health. I've had a few friends swear by it when it comes to lash lengthening, hair regrowth, and overall skin conditioning. For the purposes of liver detoxing though, it can get pretty messy. I finally found this no-fuss solution to the old DIY of doing it and I will NEVER go back.
I now spend many every other night wrapped in my liver pack without leaking onto my bed sheets or through my clothes. The castor pack pad is made of such comfortable material and it doesn't bother me at all while I sleep!
Thumb Piano
I've had the itch to learn a new instrument lately and I was thinking big. I ordered a portable full size keyboard and the anxiety/overwhelm it gave me made it stay in the closet on collecting dust. I decided to dial it down and keep it to something palm size instead, haha.
Not only is this little gadget cute as a button but it emits the loveliest, most soothing melodies. I really didn't anticipate loving it as much as I do nor the positive vibrations it sends throughout my entire being when I play it. And it's SO easy to learn with the starters booklet they provide.
Happy zen-ning!
Nahui Ollin candy-wrapper handbags
This style of handbag I've seen floating around several outdoor green markets and I finally went ahead with a committed purchase this month. It is such a cool, eclectic, unordinary work of fashionable & functional art.
Its made of strategically placed candy wrappers! No two designs seem to be the same and I love that. The one I purchased, at first glance, looked like damn near a Gucci bag! The multicolored look is the signature style of Nahui Ollin but variations can be found the more you browse.
Oh! I like to pair it with a mood ring, cuz...why not. :)
Curly Girl Salons
No matter what stylist I go to & no matter how well they do cut, color, or styling.....I have found less than a handful of them not to be intimidated or actually know how to handle my wild/thick/curly hair. I began my quest for a "curly girl specialist"; I've seen more and more of these types of stylists on Instagram who are getting special certification to deal with exclusively curly hair or with people that would like to completely commit to letting their natural hair go unstyled/un blow-dried/un-flat ironed.
I can't begin to describe the difference I have witnessed first-hand. I was in the salon for 3 hours on my 1st appointment. My curly girl specialist taught me all the steps I needed to do, play-by-play, from the way I condition more effectively while in the shower, to the special way to dry but not dry OUT my hair, how to "refresh" throughout the week in between washes, what kind of brush to be using, and on and on. She sent me home with great (&reasonably priced) products, hair wrap, hair scrunchies, the works! But the knowledge was the most priceless thing.
My curls have never looked or felt the same since that day. I recommend to Yelp or Google "curly hair salon" or "curly hair specialist near me" ASAP if you are ready to level up your hair naturally. Almost all of my frizz, knots, poof, tangles, and dryness has become a thing of the past.
Stem Cells & Peptide cocktails
I've been working with an amazing esthetician who introduced me to stem cell therapy for urticaria. I became a case study participant with the brand over the summer and continue to see progress using their product at home in tandem with my every 6 week formal skin treatments. This company also deals with many clients that are healing from chemo or have wounds from bad accidents; their before and afters are pretty incredible.
I also started incorporating an amazing skin cocktail and ozone sauna to work synergistically to make for a more thorough overall result. I couldn't recommend all of these any more highly; its really been a game changer from anything I've done in the last 10 years for my skin.
Honorable mentions:
....as well as t-shirt slide clips, *Ozone* sauna therapy, and beaded asian house slippers:))
