Gift Ideas / Oh Happy Day, yes you May!

The birds and the bees is right. Honestly, if May was a teenager, they would need a good talking to because their beauty has gotten people in trouble and my gift ideas here will follow suit (the beauty I mean, minus the trouble).

I don't know what humans made more of last year - Tik Toks, pumpkin bread recipe failures, or babies. Needless to say - there's a lot of new mommies. And now that everyone is getting vaccinated, May's catalystic ways will make for an even more "intense" summer (I don't know whether to say yikes or lol). There's so much more going on (Mother's Day, Cinco De Mayo, the National Day of Prayer, May Day, Tax Day, the Indianapolis 500, May birthdays, and good ole' Memorial Day Weekend) and I am so nervous-excited-terrified to see what unfolds on all our public beaches.

This is part of my ongoing series since every month has a variety of things to celebrate and comes with a general "theme". The gift ideas below can be given across the board and expanded on but, specifically, will have a May vibe accordingly.

• "Twinning" - For Mother's Day and any other day before or after that when being fashionably/obviously related is acceptable because you are walking on the same sidewalk. Click on the look that applies to your dynamic duo/trio and on below!

• Body Decor/Accessories- Yes its earlier then June but summer is practically here - just do it! Express your happiness to be out of pajamas and into the world again. Body positivity in every way and for every type.

• Fly a Kite (c'mon, you know you wanna) - kite flying is a hobby that needs to be brought back. Gift one this month and hopefully the trend will spread again! (or - do it for the gram)

• Fancy Water - you gotta stay hydrated anyway, might as well get them a french spa-style treat that will have you drinking more H2O—and not missing your old habits one bit. Made in France.

Driveway/Sidewalk Stencils - make your masterpieces with a pressure washer(or spray paint) and some dirt. Just place one of these stencils on a dirty wooden fence or concrete driveway, border, or walkway to create art in unexpected places!

• Wildcards:) - Every, single, person, had bounced between 1 of these 3 mentalities over the past year. Let's throw our hands in the air together and hold our trophy high because damnit - we tried, lol.

• Zodiac Sign String Art - Get your giftee a transition to Taurus/Gemini season memento to remind them year after year of who they are and what they're about according to the stars.

• Bead of Names - custom hypoallergenic stainless steel silver or 18k gold plated in your choice of 4mm or 6mm beads. You pick the name, word, or number of significant meaning to wear alone or stack for layering that can be dressed up or down for any occasion/environment.

• At-Home Mani with "May"-ish designs - The "M" in May stands for mani; if there's any month to have your nails on point its this one. Skip the nail salon and cheat a little with these at-home options of spring flowers or white lace chic.
