These next ideas take mindfulness to the next level. The makers really give it their own twist and the intent shows!

This week is fully an Etsy-love list. Time and time again, it never fails; the talent that's out there, the creative minds that craft the things that are done blow me away. Ok kind of feels like we're at an honor roll assembly, lol. On to the list!

These 5 ideas are mainly in the decor/accessory space and I'm confident they never disappoint their recipient:
Cacti-Art Soy Candles*
I bookmarked this at some point last year as I do with most ideas that I can't use right away (I am the bookmark QUEEN). This Canadian vendor only has 12 items in her Etsy shop but each pack an artistic punch. I imagine this to be a great gift for someone that doesn't have a green thumb and wants to liven up their home with "plant-life" that doesn't die as easily, haha. These soy beauties look SO realistic (good enough to eat, I thought they were a cool frozen yogurt at first!) and it will be really really hard to just buy one.
Textured Lace Accessories ( w/ an architectural twist!)*
This vendor in Turkey has found a beautiful way to blend her textiles and create some of the most lovely hybrid accessories I've seen in a long time. They are more than an accessory, to me, they become part of your outfit and complete its entirety. Her designs are made in such a way that you can't help but notice the deep understanding she has regarding movement and structure. The pieces are alive on their own but give you that dash of "extra"to accent or compliment whatever you decide to wear for the day.
You-Name-The-Name Jewelry
I've always loved jewelry that has a delicate, minimalistic femineity to it and this Etsy vendor has made her mark in my heart! Almost all my friends have had a nameplate at one point or another but this is different. The craftsmanship is so exquisitely executed! My top 3 favorite name necklaces on the shop have the option to 1. have several names (great gift for a mom with a few kids), 2. have the name/word as a signature (you send her a pic and she transforms it into a vertical charm!), and 3. the single letter name with some spacing in between. For a small fee she will even do a two-tone option at your request (love blending my gold and silvers - SOLD!). Definitely one of the nicest, most flexible Etsy owners I've purchased from recently and the quality is even better in person!
Decor for the Non-Traveled
Although I'm not a "camping"-type or been to many places outside the U.S. (blame this movie), being in nature does give me a deep sense of peace. I'm a minimalist when it comes to decor, but as a Miami girl at heart, I often walk the "splash of color" tightrope. This photographer and Etsy seller has gone to (and captured) amazing point-of-views in places many have on their bucket list but that I've been able to bring inside my home via archival fine art prints. Whether you dream of exploring desert sand dunes, running through poppy fields in full bloom, horseback riding on the coast of Santa Barbara, the canyons of Arizona, Italy, Morocco,....you can indirectly stamp your passport by hanging one of her incredible captures on your walls.
Care Package Delight*
I'm a sucker for a care package (sending them, not receiving....don't think I've ever received one actually! Hint hint, you know who you are). Yet another Etsy find, this Canadian mother-daughter vendor offers "gift parcels with a celebration inside". Whether your friend just broke up with some loser, just found out she's pregnant, purchased a condo, got engaged, or started a new job - they have something for every occasion. WAY better than a text, no?
Stay tuned for a continuation of this blog series; each addition to this list will be titled the same as this one, just with a Part 3, 4, 5 etc tagged on. I'll be expanding on the Care Package idea and looking into the coolest type of subscription boxes out there that can be gifted as well. Hope these inspired you and enjoy poaching!
As a note, any gift idea above that has an asterisk(*) by the title suggestion, signifies I have not purchased the specific product myself - yet. But my opinion/suggestion (and fan-dom) is firm & unbiased:)
